W. Scott Broadfoot Oil

Using traditional easel painting materials and techniques, I have been producing art work for over fifty years. A graduate of St. Mary's College of Maryland and a Masters degree from Catholic University, I currently live in Fenwick Island and enjoy the scenic beauty the area provides.

My early career was spent as an illustrator and graphic artist. Currently, I consider my self a realist painter specializing in still life, landscape, and figure painting in oil and watercolor. I have a firm foundation in drawing, anatomy, and design. I enjoy touring museums and have spent most of my life studying the works of the Old Masters which have greatly influenced my work.
