Jeffrey Todd Moore
As a native of Delaware, and as a resident of southern Delaware, my Stained glass panels, photography and paintings feature many of the things I see around me, from the back bays and creeks, to the ocean and the boardwalks. I am inspired by the colors of the seasons, awed by the beauty of the sky, and captivated by the lines and structures created by both humans and nature.
As a theater person, I am attracted to human connection and relationships. When I venture into figurative work, I look for gestures and motion that indicate relationships and conversations. I am fascinated by public groups, public displays of emotion, and familiar bonds.
I am a self taught artist. I work in many different subject matters and several different styles. I have a background in computer work; 15 years as a computer draftsman informs my compositions, my subjects and my style. As a painter, I've painted realistic landscapes and abstract figures.
Jeffrey Todd Moore was born and raised in Viola, Delaware in the same home his mother grew up in and where she still lives today. He has a degree in theater.
