Richard Mathews Watercolor / Pastel / Oil / Acrylic

Born “some years ago,” Richard studied art at Catholic University and George Washington University (with studio classes at the Corcoran Gallery of Art). After working as a production artist for the Washington Post and an illustrator and graphic designer for the U.S. Department of Labor, Richard retired to the Bethany Beach area.

He currently works in pastels and watercolors. Richard is a member of the Bethany Beach Watercolor Society, Art League of Ocean City and is active in the Rehoboth Art League sketch group.
